The Lower Moreland Police Department recently announced that a segment of Washington Lane in Huntingdon Valley is closed for an extended period of time due to a vehicle collision with a pole.

The closed section of the road is between Terwood Road and Welsh Road.

Police are encouraging residents and passerbys to avoid the area for the time being.

The announcement also said that PECO is on scene and that some houses in the area may be without power.
