PennDOT announced today that Pine Road in Lower Moreland Township will be repaved from Friday, May 31 through Monday, June 10, from 7:00pm to 6:00am.

During this time, Pine Road will be closed and detoured weeknights and weekends between Philmont Avenue and Brae Bourn Road.

Drivers will be directed to use Byberry Road and Philmont Avenue, PennDOT said. 

The announcement noted that crews will accommodate access for homeowners living within the detour zone and emergency personnel will be available should a need arise.

Local access will be maintained up to the work zone. Drivers are advised to allow extra time when traveling near the work area because backups and delays will occur. All scheduled activities are weather dependent.
