Update: Police said the roadway is open as of 12:18pm.

The Abington Township Police Department announced at approximately 11:00am on Wednesday, November 20 that Phipps Road is now closed between Osbourne Avenue and Coolidge Avenue due to a housefire.

Officials encourage residents to avoid the area if possible.
