PennDOT announced today that trail construction is scheduled on Greenwood Avenue in Abington Township.

Greenwood Avenue between Washington Lane and Meetinghouse Road will be closed from 7:00pm PM on Friday, June 21, through 5:00am on Monday, June 24, officials said.

During the closure, motorists will be directed to use Meetinghouse Road, Route 73 (Township Line Road), and Route 611 (Old York Road). 

Local access will be maintained up to the work zone, according to the notice.
