Although the closing date has yet to be announced, the Sears store at the Willow Grove Park Mall’s days are numbered. A mall spokesman confirmed the news on Tuesday.

Once a retail giant, Sears has been in decline for a number of years, with a catalysts being its merger with sister store Kmart in 2005, and the rise of online retailers like Amazon. Sears declared bankruptcy in 2018.
