The annual Fourth of July celebration in Jenkintown is scheduled for July 4th at 10:00 a.m. (with a rain date of July 10th). The celebration is sponsored by the Jenkintown Volunteer Fire Department.

The parade will start at the town square and move up Leedom Street to Hillside Avenue. It will then follow Hillside Avenue to Walnut Street. It will then go up Walnut Street to West Avenue and back to the town square. The parade lineup will be on Leedom Street alongside the firehouse and on Summit Avenue in front of the borough hall.

The parade will consist of firetrucks from several companies, Scouts, police, and music by the Ulster Pipe Band.

No post-parade activities are scheduled for this year.
