Royal Zarasa, a new handmade comfort soul food restaurant located at 411 Township Line Road in Elkins Park, had added Mondays and Tuesdays to their schedule.

The takeout-centric eatery is now open from 11:00am to 7:00pm Monday through Thursday, 11:00am to 5:00pm on Friday, and 11:00am to 7:00on on Saturday. They are closed on Sundays.

“We wanted to give our customers more access and opportunity to get to us,” Terrance Hopkins-Bey, who co-owns Royal Zarasa with his wife, Tiffany, said.

Their fried fish cheesesteak comes highly recommended.

“It’s a different take on a fish hoagie. We serve it up our way with peppers, onions, and housemade tartar sauce and American cheese,” Terrance said. “It merges our number seller, fried fish, with a traditional favorite, a cheesesteak. We hope it gives our customers something new and exciting.”
