Rockledge Borough Police Chief John Gallagher recently announced the hiring of Officer Steve Grabov as the Department’s newest full-time officer.

Grabov was sworn in on Monday, October 30 by Mayor Jim Caffrey at the monthly Borough council meeting.

According to Chief Gallagher, Grabov is a former SEPTA police officer who participated with his K-9 partner, Laura, during the Borough’s annual Car Show & Fall Festival in 2022 and 2023. They also joined Rockledge police for 2023’s July 4 Parade.

Laura is now retired and living at home with Steve’s wife, Kim, and their three boys, Rocco, Vinny and Luca, Gallagher said.
