Rockledge Fire Company honors former Chief Costello for 50 years of service

The Rockledge Fire Company recently recognized former Chief Ken Costello with a plaque honoring his 50 years of service with the company.

According to their announcement, each of the shields on his plaque represent positions he held on the active firefighting force.

From the announcement:

Although retired from serving as an officer, Ken continues to serve as an active firefighter. This is just a small portion of Ken’s contribution to the company over the years. He currently sits on our board of the Directors as well as serving in a number of other administrative capacities. Thank you Ken for all you have done for the fire company and the fire service community.
