Rockledge Borough announced that the Rockledge Fire Marshal has issued a burn ban for the rest of November due to severe dry conditions.
The ban prohibits open fires, including the incineration of garbage, leaves, grass, twigs, litter, paper and other materials whether in burn barrels, fire rings or on the ground.
The Pennsylvania Drought Task Force has issued a Drought Watch in Montgomery County. Cheltenham Township, Hatboro, and Lower Moreland Township have issued temporary burn bans.
