Dr. Lonnie Golden, a professor of Economics and Labor-Human Resources at Penn State Abington, has been featured in the latest WHYY podcast titled “Are return-to-office mandates helpful or harmful?”
The episode debates the merits of remote vs. office work and centers on Philadelphia Mayor Cherelle Parker’s decision to call all city workers back to the office starting mid-July. According to WHYY, she’s also asking the city’s largest employers to bring their workers back in person.
Dr. Golden is joined by Gennifer Reed, the president of AFSCME DC47, Local 2186, and Peter Cappelli, Wharton School professor of management and director of the Center for Human Resources.
