PREIT, which owns the Willow Grove Park Mall, is celebrating this Black History Month by displaying and supporting black-owned businesses and retailers.
“PREIT recognizes the importance of championing diversity and inclusivity at our malls. By incorporating Black-owned businesses, we are offering unique opportunities for local entrepreneurs to grow their businesses and create positive economic impacts for the community while diversifying our mall offerings reflecting the diversity of the communities we serve,” said Joseph Coradino, Chairman and CEO of PREIT.
Black-owned businesses and retailers within the mall include:
- Bae Boutique sells women’s apparel, including shoes, bags, tops, jeans, dresses, and more.
- The Experience sells women’s clothing and accessories.
- JellyBeadz sells African waist beadz.
- Mocaci sells women’s clothing, accessories, shoes and bags.
- Najae sells body butters, oils, beard oils, hair care and smoothing products.
- Philly Shared Retail is a curated retail showroom that provides products from small businesses and local artisans in the tri-state area.
- Philly Photo Spot is a selfie museum which includes 15+ interactive walls designed with you in mind. Book a package with their friendly photo pros to capture the best photos of you and your friends or family.
- Kresha Kreations sells delicious desserts which include cheesecakes, cupcakes, rice krispie treats and more!
- Saramani House Secrets sells African accessories and textiles.
- La Bache’ sells simple, affordable and memorable clothing and accessories.
