The organization additionally said they have partnered with Community for Change and Abington for Peace to host a rally on Sunday at 1:00pm at 1475 Old York Road, Abington Township.

A prayer vigil for Renee Nicole Good will be held on Saturday, January 10 at 4:00pm at Jenkintown Town Square (703 Greenwood Avenue).
Good was fatally shot by an Immigration and Customs Enforcement agent in Minneapolis on Wednesday. She was 37 years old.

State and local officials have strongly disputed claims the shooting, captured on video, was done in self-defense as tensions exploded amid this week’s deployment of some 2,000 federal agents as part of the latest surge in the Trump administration’s nationwide immigration enforcement crackdown and following claims of welfare fraud in the Somali immigrant community.

In related news, an “ICE OUT FOR GOOD: Montco Countywide Protest” will be held from 12:00pm – 2:00pm on Sunday, January 11 at various locations.
The protests are organized by Community For Change of Montgomery County. Other locations listed are Ambler, Collegeville, King of Prussia, and Souderton.
