Police seek knife-wielding biker involved in series of Pennypack Trail attacks

Philadelphia police are looking for a man wielding a large knife or a machete who injured two people during three incidents along the Pennypack Trail.

The man is described as having “a thin build who was riding a black or dark-colored bicycle in each attack,” NBC10 reported.

The first incident happened the morning of November 22 along Pennypack Trail in the area of the 2800 block of Holme Avenue.

Police said a male biker was approached by another rider with a large knife who slashed the victim several times.

Two more incidents took place the mornings of November 24 and November 25. Officials believe the same man may be responsible for all of these incidents.

Anyone with information on this incident is asked to contact the Philadelphia Police Department’s Northeast Detectives Division at 215-686-3153 or 215-686-3154.
