Cheltenham Police are investigation a reported sexual assault of a victim that was reported from Chestnut Hill Hospital. The victim is a juvenile female who lives in Philadelphia.
The victim’s mother reported to Police that her daughter was walking on the sidewalk on Easton Road, approaching the entrance to Wyncote Towers, sometime between 10:30 pm on September 5, and 12:20 am on September 6, 2018.
The victim reported she was allegedly approached by a dark skinned black male who asked if she was okay. The male then grabbed her arm and touched her inappropriately.
The victim ran away from the male and returned home and told family members what happened and Police were notified. The male in question is approximately 30 years-old and was last seen wearing a grey shirt and black pants.
The investigation is in the early stages and police are continuing to gather evidence and information about this incident.
