The Lower Moreland Police Department announced the arrest of Elkanah Torborh, 23, for stealing personal items from a residence in the area of Pine Road and Pheasant Lane in Huntingdon Valley.

Police said the victims reported a theft on September 4, 2023 after entertaining guests at their residence.

One of the victims said a guest invited an unknown individual who “had taken personal items from multiples rooms inside their home,” officials said.

An arrest warrant was requested and issued in November 2023. Officers took Torborh into custody on July 11, 2024.

He is charged with the following:

(1) COUNT OF 3921A THEFT BY UNLAW TAKING-MOVABLE PROP
(1) COUNT OF 3925A RECEIVING STOLEN PROPERTY
(1) COUNT OF 4120A IDENTITY THEFT
