Claudeo Alexander Fuentez-Soto, 25, of Chile, was arrested by Lower Merion Township police on Sunday, December 10. Police believe he may be a part of an international burglary ring targeting homes in our area.

The arrest came a day after four individuals believed to be connected to twelve residential burglaries of high-end homes in the Meadowbrook area were arrested.

Fuentez-Soto is charged with burglary and a related offense and is being held on $25,000 cash bail.

His arrest came after a homeowner reported three suspicious individuals on home security footage. Responding officers found Fuentez-Soto driving a car fleeing the scene, NBC10 reported.

Fuentez-Soto was in possession of a false Venezuelan ID when he was arrested, officials said.
