On October 6th, educators, business and community leaders, and TruMark Financial employees from all across the Philadelphia area congregated at the Abington Art Center to kiss or feed Raines, a pot-bellied pig.

While truly an even in its own right, the pig kissing/feeding was part of TruMark Financial® Credit Union’s Feed-A-Pig Financial Literacy Fundraiser. More than $20,000 was raised in support of financial literacy programs for local schools.

The event was emceed by local sports radio personality, Mark Farzetta.

The fundraiser is part of TruMark Financial’s Building Financial Futures initiative. The funds raised will be donated as grants to local area schools in order to equip students with the tools needed for a rudimentary financial education.
