Raheem White, 43, of Philadelphia, pleaded guilty to charges of burglary, attempted burglary, indecent assault and aggravated indecent assault, including an incident in which he performed a sex act in view of a 102-year-old Cheltenham Township woman.
White’s sentence is 8 to 16 years in a state correctional facility and $118,958 in restitution. The incidents occurred in three counties between July 2020 and January 2021.

On Jan. 9, 2021, a 102-year-old Cheltenham woman reported to police that she was sleeping in a chair about 2 p.m. when she was awakened by a man in the room who told her, “I’m not here to hurt you,” according to the criminal complaint. The victim said the man pushed his body against her so she could not get up and that she could not push him away “because he was too strong.”
The man, later determined to be White, exposed himself to the woman, performed an indecent act in front of her and tried to pull her pants down, police alleged. White ransacked the residence before leaving, detectives said.
“Based on the facts that we’ve learned, we’ve come to the conclusion that the defendant in this case is just a monster. He’s a monster who has no regard for the rules of society, whether that means going into people’s houses and stealing their items, or in this case, going into an elderly woman’s house and performing a sex act while he’s committing the burglary,” Assistant District Attorney Scott Frank Frame said. “Anyone who targets elderly women for their own sexual fantasies is a monster and should be locked up.
