Charles Clifton Woodson, 37, and September Leo Wingfield, 27, of Philadelphia were sentenced in Montgomery County Court after pleading guilty to a felony charge of aggravated assault in connection with a road rage altercation that occurred in the 500 block of York Road in Jenkintown in December 2021.

A video of the incident shows the pair exiting their vehicle, dragging a female driver from her car and kicking her repeatedly. Woodson can be seen kicking the victim’s head while Wingfield is seen stomping her. 

Woodson was sentenced to 7½ to 15 years in prison. Wingfield was sentenced to 3 to 6 years.

“It was an awful beating of a victim. We need people to know that this kind of conduct isn’t going to be tolerated. You can’t explode on somebody and assault them in this kind of way,” District Attorney Kevin R. Steele said. “I argued for a state prison sentence to reflect the severity of what they did.”
