PetSmart Jenkintown, 901 Old York Road, is hosting a dog adoption event in coordination with the SPCA on Sunday, July 28 from 11:00am to 2:00pm, Patch reported.

Three to five dogs will be in attendance and searching for their new families.

“Dog adoptions have decreased not only at our shelter, but at shelters across the country,” said Maddie Bernstein, Director of Lifesaving at the Pennsylvania SPCA. “It is clear that we have to be creative and pivot to help these beautiful souls find the families they so greatly deserve.”
