Pennypack Trust in Huntingdon Valley to host ‘Tweet and Greet’ open house on June 14

Pennypack Trust in Huntingdon Valley is holding a Tweet and Greet open house event on Sunday, June 14th from 9 AM until 1 PM at their headquarters at 2955 Edge Hill Road.

This celebration of migration season will feature guided bird walks, led by members of the Trust’s staff and volunteer corps. Participants can sign up for bird walks in advance and they will take place throughout the event. The highlight of the day is a talk and bird of prey demonstration by the falconers of Masters of the Skies.

There will also be opportunities to speak with some of the Pennypack Trust’s partners at Bird Safe Philly, Liberty Bird Alliance, Bird Town Pennsylvania, and many other organizations. There will be bird house making crafts for the kids, games, raffles, snacks, and Traveling Tom’s of Yardley coffee truck will be selling coffee, signature drinks and breakfast fare.

This event is free and open to the public. The bird of prey talk and demonstration is free for members and $10 for non- members. Pre-registration for that and the bird walks are recommended.
