Pennypack Ecological Restoration Trust of Huntingdon Valley to host annual Fall Festival on Oct. 24

Press Release:

The Pennypack Ecological Restoration Trust will hold their Fall Festival (formerly called the Full Moon Hayride) on Saturday, October 24th from 4 – 9 PM at the Trust’s Headquarters at 2955 Edge Hill Road.

The heart and soul of this festival is the hayrides, but this family friendly event features so much more! There will be live music from  local favorites, The Clark Abbott Trio. Food offerings will include some Philly favorites from Steve’s Prince of Steaks, goodies from the Philly Pretzel Factory of Abington and Rita’s On Wheels will bring frozen treats in the evening. There will also be popcorn, a s’mores pit, and drinks for kids and adults.

Youngsters will be able to participate in fall themed games and activities with a focus on nature. There will also be a cider press station, where visitors can press apples and sample the cider they produce.

Entry is free, but hayrides must be booked in advance at pennypacktrust.org. All proceeds benefit the Pennypack Trust and their mission to protect open space and habitat. Be prepared with cash or Venmo for some of this event’s offerings. Handicapped parking is available.
