Penn State’s new president visits Abington campus, stresses career preparation

Penn State’s 19th University President Neeli Bendapudi met with PSU Abington students, faculty, staff and stakeholders last week to discuss career preparation, academic preparedness, and scholarships.

This was Bendapudi’s first official visit to PSU Abington’s campus, which took place during her fifth month in office.

“We are preparing students for meaningful jobs and careers. Education can transform your life. I grew up with no running water, so for me and my family, every person who got a college degree helped the family and the community. Education provides social mobility,” Bendapudi said.
