The work hours for PECO’s natural gas main project on Old York Road have changed from 9:00am to 3:00pm to 7:00pm to 5:00am.

A southbound lane of Old York Road between Tremont Road and Chester Avenue will be closed during those work hours. The project is expected to continue through July.

Update 4/19/23: The works hours are 7 PM – 5 AM, Monday through Friday.

TRAFFIC ALERT Work is expected to begin Monday, April 10, 2023, on Old York Road between Tremont Road and Chester Avenue. PECO will be replacing the existing natural gas equipment. Work hours are 9 AM to 3 PM, Monday through Friday, and will involve the closure of one south bound lane. The project is expected to be completed in July 2023.
