Oishi Sushi, a new Asian fusion restaurant in Jenkintown, will host their grand opening on Tuesday, July 18 beginning at 11:30am.

“We welcome everyone and we’re excited to work with the community. We’ll be serving fresh ingredients for modern Japanese dishes,” owner Raj Omar said.

Omar has previously owned and operated various eateries in New Jersey. He and his business partner Hossain, a chef with more than 15 years’ experience, found Jenkintown to be the right fit for their newest venture.

“We have a family member who owns a restaurant in Jenkintown. After reviewing the area, I found a very positive opportunity,” Omar said. “People had very nice things to say. Very friendly people.”

The restaurant will offer online table reservations as well as takeout options.

Opening hours:

Sunday-Thursday: 11:30am – 9:30pm
Friday-Saturday: 11:30am – 10:00pm
