Oil painting by Arthur Haywood, Cheltenham native and Senator’s son, feat. in 40th anniversary edition of L. Ron Hubbard Presents Writers of the Future

Arthur Haywood, 33, a Cheltenham native and son of State Senator Art Haywood, has been featured in L. Ron Hubbard Presents Writers of the Future Volume 40.

Haywood’s featured painting, an 11×17″ oil piece titled “Magical Encounters”, is an illustration for the short story “The Imagalisk” by Galen Westlake, which was chosen for the 40th anniversary edition.

From the story’s description:

Dementia has landed Dan Kennedy in Graydon Manor, and what’s left of his life ahead seems dismal, but a pair of impossible visitors bring unexpected hope.

The book is available at Galaxypress.com and bookstores.
