The North Penn VFW Post 676 in Glenside launched their “Barn On The Hill Fundraiser” in September to help cover the costs of “unexpected key infrastructure failures.”

They are hoping to raise $100,000 for the projects.

From their website:

So far in 2024, we have experienced an incredible number of unexpected key infrastructure failures. Among them is the failure of four of our six air conditioning systems, two refrigeration compressors and a grease trap that rotted out requiring a three day closure and major excavation of the kitchen floor. Making these repairs has completely consumed our cash reserves.
