North Hills Community Association hosting 1st annual Scarecrow Contest in October with cash prizes, registration now open

The North Hills Community Association is hosting their fist annual Scarecrow Contest in October.

Registration is open now until October 11. Voting will take place from 4:00pm – 4:45pm on October 19, followed by an awards ceremony.

“This is part of the Limekiln Pike revitalization project. I wanted to start something fun for the community,” Fran Earley, the Association’s president, said. “We want people to know we’re alive and well.”

Earley noted that the contest is open to all greater Glenside residents.

Cash prizes will be awarded to first, second, and third place finalists.
