Nifty Fifty’s franchisee Chan Nuth has pushed back the anticipated January 6 soft opening to a later date. The grand opening scheduled for Monday, January 8 will be punted as well.

Construction for the new restaurant is finished, but Nuth told Glenside Local in late December that a postponement was possible, partly due to the building inspector’s busy holiday schedule.

The building at 1140 Old York Road in Abington Township will likely see a final inspection on Monday, January 8.

“I’m not 100% sure when we will be able to open, but I strongly believe we’ll be operating to the public by January 16,” Nuth said.
