The new Montgomery County Veterans Trail was unveiled during the Montgomery County Veterans Resource Fair earlier this month, county officials announced.

“The idea of the Veterans Trail was sparked by Jeanne’s [Sorg, Montgomery County Recorder of Deeds] respect and service to Montgomery County veterans,” the announcement said. “We have visited many of these memorials, and hope you take the opportunity to visit them as well.”

The trail map includes multiple markers in greater Glenside, including Glenside Memorial Hall, Veteran’s Park of Springfield Township in Wyndmoor, Camp William Penn Museum in Elkins Park (Cheltenham Township), War Memorial Park in Abington, Veterans Memorial Park in Willow Grove, Flourtown-Erdenheim Veterans War Memorial, Veterans Memorial at Huntingdon Valley Library, and the World War II Honor Roll and Flag Memorial in Jenkintown.
