Dr. Alice L. Swift, Abington Senior High School’s new principal as of January 20, 2024, will host a “Meet and Greet” with families and students on Tuesday, January 16 from 6:00pm to 7:00pm in the high school auditorium.

The evening will include a presentation and a Q&A session, followed by an opportunity for introductions.

Dr. Swift was officially appointed during the November 14 meeting of the Board of School Directors. She is a 1983 graduate of Abington Senior High School and came back to her alma mater after serving as the Director of Safe and Orderly Schools for Anne Arundel County Public Schools in Annapolis, MD, where she also served as the Deputy Coordinator of Title IX. 

Dr. Swift earned her bachelor’s degree from the University of Maryland, and her master’s degree from Trinity University. She also has a Doctorate in Educational Policy and Leadership from the University of Maryland.
