Multiple local players receive All-Suburban One League honors, Cheltenham junior named Co-Players of the Year

Maya Simmons, a Cheltenham High School junior, has received All-Suburban One League First Team and Co-Player of the Year honors in the Freedom Division.

Simmons became the 18th Lady Panther basketball player to eclipse the 1,000-point plateau this season, and the first Lady Panther to score 1,000 points since Ashley Jones in 2015.
