The Edge Hill Fire Company in Abington Township announced that crews assisted the Glenside Fire Company, Wyndmoor Fire Company, and Flourtown Company with a brush fire during the evening hours of Saturday, November 9.

According to their post, Pipeline 400 and Ladder 400 were on scene.

Edge Hill firefighters also assisted the Barren Hill Fire Company with a large brush fire in Whitemarsh Township.

The company reminds residents of the 30-day burn ban in the township due to the extreme dry conditions. The National Weather Service recently issued a red flag warning across Montgomery County and surrounding areas until 6:00pm today.
