Edge Hill Fire Company, Abington Fire Company, Weldon Fire Company, Roslyn Fire Company, McKinley Fire Company, and Glenside Fire Company were dispatched at around 3:30am on Saturday, December 9 to a house fire at Limekiln Pike in Abington Township.

The house was destroyed and belonged to the family of Howard Burrell, an Abington Senior High School alum and current assistant boys’ basketball coach.

A GoFundMe for the Burrell family is available for those who would like to donate.
