The Fort Washington Fire Company announced that crews and mutual aid units from Roslyn and Edge Hill fire companies were dispatched to the 1000 block of Fitzwatertown Road (Abington Township) on Monday evening for a reported house fire.

According to their post, crews worked to extinguish the fire, which was located in the basement and first floor, and cleared the scene around 9:00pm.

The Community Ambulance Association, Ambler revived two cats suffering from smoke inhalation, the post said.
