Mrs. Claire T. Silverman, a 1942 graduate of Cheltenham High School and later Beaver College of Glenside (now Arcadia University), passed away peacefully on November 7 at Chandler Hall in Newtown at the age of 100.

An Elkins Park native and 60-year resident of Glenside, Mrs. Silverman was a mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother and “a diligent and dedicated secretary in the financial services industry. Her work ethic and commitment to excellence were admired by colleagues and friends alike,” her obituary said.

“In remembering Claire, we celebrate a life well-lived, rich in love, and full of cherished memories. She will be deeply missed by all who had the privilege of knowing her,” her obituary said.
