Mr. Joseph J. Radvansky, Jr., a former longtime teacher and coach at La Salle College High School in Wyndmoor, passed away on Sunday, March 29. He was 77.
Mr. Radvansky taught mathematics for more than three decades at La Salle College High School, retiring in 2012. He also coached the freshman football team and served as assistant coach of the tennis team, according to his obituary.
In 2008, he won a gold medal at the 2008 U.S. Transplant Games in Mixed Doubles Tennis with his Philadelphia partner Julie Riggi. He also won a bronze medal in Men Singles Tennis.
Mr. Radvansky was recently honored with the Christian Brother Service Award. You can watch a video below of his son and colleagues discussing his contributions:

“Joe Radvansky taught math for over thirty years. But ask anyone who sat in his classroom, played on his teams, or simply knew the man – they’ll tell you he was really teaching something much bigger than that,” La Salle College High School said in a post.
Friends and family are invited to call beginning at 9:30 a.m. on Monday, April 6, 2026, at Corpus Christi Catholic Church, 900 Sumneytown Pike, Lansdale, Pennsylvania, followed by the Funeral Mass at 11:00 a.m. Burial will follow at St. John Neumann Cemetery, Chalfont.
