From Edge Hill Fire Company’s memorial post:

John proudly served with Edge Hill Fire Company for over 49 years, holding nearly every position during his time with us. His dedication to the fire service extended beyond our company — in 2007, he joined the Abington Township Fire Department’s Fire Marshal’s Office as an inspector. Over the years, he rose through the ranks, ultimately serving as Fire Marshal for more than six years before his retirement in 2023.

Throughout his decades of service, John’s leadership, commitment, and kindness left a lasting impact on everyone who had the privilege of working beside him. He touched the lives of countless members of our community, and his absence will be deeply felt.
