Mr. Allen Mosebach, Navy veteran and longtime Hatboro committee person, has passed away at 83

Mr. Allen Francis Mosebach, a longtime Hatboro resident, U.S. Navy veteran, and Borough of Hatboro committee person, passed away on Wednesday, May 13. He was 83.

For the Navy, Mr. Mosebach served as an Intelligence Officer and civil servant contract negotiator, retiring as a Lieutenant Commander, according to his obituary.

For the Borough of Hatboro, Mr. Mosebach served as a member of the Civil Service Commission among other commissions and boards.

“In his free time, Allen served on countless Commissions and Boards for the Borough of Hatboro including his most notable: the Civil Service Commission,” the Borough of Hatboro said in a post. “Allen was always extremely proud of our police officers and loved being able to give back to the Hatboro Police Department through his service on the Commission. Allen was adored by his fellow Commission members and could always be found sharing stories about his time in the military or his adventures with his wife, Donna. We are so grateful to have known and to have worked with Allen over the years.”

A Celebration of Life will be held on Friday, June 12, 2026 at St. Paul’s Lutheran Church located at 301 North Main St, Doylestown, PA 18901. A visitation will be held from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM, immediately followed by a memorial service at 11:00 AM. Interment is private.
