Mount Saint Joseph Academy in Flourtown and Germantown Academy in Fort Washington recently completed capital projects.

Mount Saint Joseph, a Catholic college preparatory school for girls in grades 9-12, is opening a new athletic center this fall.

According to the school’s website, the facility features 600+ seats, a state-of-the-art weight room, an athletic training facility, a welcoming lobby and offices, and concessions for fans and student-athletes.

A grand opening will be held in October. More details below:

Germantown Academy

Germantown Academy’s recently finished lower school playgrounds features a zip line, cliff riders, swings, including a multi-person basket swing, a parkour course, slides, sand, and gaga pits.

The new playgrounds are environmentally responsible and incorporate new and existing trees, native plantings and rain gardens to assist with stormwater management, officials said.
