Moody Jones Gallery of Glenside is proud to present Threads That Bind, a solo exhibition featuring the compelling work of acclaimed artist Cecil Bernard.
This exhibition, running from February 2 through March 8, celebrates Black History Month by delving into the rich, layered connections between personal identity, collective memory, and the enduring legacy of Black artistry.

The opening reception will take place on Thursday, February 2, from 4:00pm to 8:00pm at Moody Jones Gallery, located at 107B S. Easton Road. This special evening offers attendees an opportunity to meet the artist, enjoy thought-provoking art, and celebrate the beginning of a vibrant month dedicated to honoring Black contributions to art and culture.
The exhibition will be free and open to the public during regular gallery hours. Visitors will experience Bernard’s dynamic works alongside curated text and visual elements that contextualize his practice within the broader tapestry of Black history and its cultural significance.
