MontCo offering free flu vaccines beginning September 30, flu/Covid vaccines October 18

COVID cases are on the rise, and so are hospitalizations and deaths. According to the CDC, as of September 9, Pennsylvania experienced a 30 percent increase in hospitalization rates over the previous week, with 680 new hospital admissions of confirmed COVID.

The CDC and MontCo’s Office of Public Health encourage all residents 6 months of age and older to get their annual flu shot and the new COVID-19 vaccine this fall to protect themselves and their family against influenza and COVID-19 disease. Widespread community vaccination helps prevent the spread of disease within communities.

Free flu shots will be offered at five Community Vaccination Clinics beginning Saturday, September 30. Free flu shots and COVID-19 vaccines will be offered starting October 18. Walk-ins will be accepted but appointments are highly encouraged. Residents can make an appointment online at or by calling 610-278-5145 or 610-970-5040.

These clinics are for people who live, work, or attend school in Montgomery County. Accommodations for individuals with disabilities will be available. Insurance will be billed for those who have coverage.
