Montco bomb squad disposed of 13 homemade explosives found in home of heavily armed man at ‘No Kings’ protest

The Montgomery County Bomb and Hazardous Device Disposal Unit disposed of 13 improvised explosive devices which were found during a search of the home of Kevin Krebs, 31, of Malvern, who was arrested on weapons charges at a “No Kings” protest in West Chester on Saturday, June 14, The New York Times reported.

According to their coverage, Krebs came to the protest with an unlicensed Sig Sauer P320 handgun, nine fully loaded magazines, a bayonet, pepper spray, a ski mask, along with an AR-15-style rifle, night vision goggles, and a gas mask in his vehicle.

He is facing dozens of additional charges for the homemade bombs, which “were filled with nails, screws and pellets.”

Officials have not discussed Krebs’ plans or motives, The Times said. He was released on $250,000 bond and was arrested again without bail following the home search.
