The Montgomery County Department of Public Safety announced today that military aircraft will be performing ceremonial flyovers at low altitude in the area on Saturday, October 11, Sunday, October 12, and Monday, October 13 as part of the US Navy and Marine Corps 250th anniversary celebration.

Current plans call for multiple rounds of flyovers each day: late morning, midday, and early afternoon, the county said. Aircraft will likely be visible in central, eastern, and southern Montgomery County, as well as across the region.

County officials ask residents not to call 9-1-1 to report these flyovers.
