The McKinley Fire Company of Elkins Park assisted with an injured hunter in the woods behind a residence on Saturday, October 28.
According to the Company’s Facebook post, Station 200 was dispatched to the 900 block of Washington Lane at approximately 5:00pm to assist Second Alarmer’s Rescue Squad and the Abington Township Police Department.

The first arriving police officers were able to locate the injured hunter and apply multiple tourniquets to his injuries.
Crews from the three agencies worked together and carried the patient over rough terrain and out of the woods. The patient was transported to the hospital.
