The Abington Township Police Department announced at approximately 10:30pm on Monday, February 17 that an active fire has broken out at the SPS Technologies building, located at 301 Highland Avenue in the Jenkintown section of the township.
The building is covered in heavy smoke and firefighters are on the premises, police said.
6ABC‘s live coverage reported that the fire broke out around 9:43pm. Officials say all occupants have been accounted for and no injuries have been reported.
The cause of the fire is still under investigation, 6ABC said.

Police ask that residents avoid the area until further notice.
