Manor College’s Eddie Fortescue Jr. named USCAA First Team All-American for second straight year

Eddie Fortescue Jr., a junior midfielder on Manor College’s men’s soccer’s team, was named a United States Collegiate Athletic Association (USCAA) First Team All-American for the second consecutive year.

Fortescue Jr. was named the Men’s Division I Soccer Player of the Week in October. In 2022, he was named the team’s Most Valuable Player, an Eastern States Athletic Conference (ESAC) Fall 2022 Semester All-Academic Team member, and made the Fall 2022 Semester Dean’s List.

Fortescue is a Blue Bell native, a graduate of Wissahickon High School and is also a member of the Blue Jays’ basketball team.

According to the College, he is the first Blue Jay to be a First Team All-American in consecutive years since Mark Colville ’14.
