Dynel Walker was arrested outside of the Sam’s Club in Willow Grove (3925 Welsh Road, Upper Moreland Township) on Wednesday, August 6, 6ABC reported.

Walker, 37, was wanted for assaulting at least six women between July 18 and August 3 in Center City. Police identified him as a wanted suspect Wednesday morning.

Detectives found commonalities among the assaults’ reports, physical descriptions provided by victims, as well as geographical proximity. Philadelphia police published each of the reports here.

Walker has 21 prior arrests and was sentenced to five years of court supervision after a 2023 guilty plea for identity theft and receiving stolen property in Montgomery County, Metro Philadelphia reported.

Philadelphia Police Department Captain Margo Alleyne-Parker said she thinks other women may have been attacked and encouraged other victims to come forward.
