Hascir Ahmed Walton, 24, of Wilkes-Barre Township has been sentenced for 2.5 to 5 years in prison after pleading guilty to a felony charge stemming from illegal possession of a firearm during a fight at the Willow Grove Park Mall in May 2022.

Walton, who had a prior criminal history, was carrying a stolen Glock 19 handgun at the time of the incident.

“The callers relayed that multiple males were fighting and that a gun had been involved,” Abington Police Officer Andrew Ammaturo alleged in the criminal complaint. “Once on location, one of the parties was stopped and identified as Hascir Walton. During the investigation, it was determined that Walton had a firearm in his possession during the physical disturbance inside the mall.”
